Phil Simms
My football team clinched a playoff spot, but I got injured in last Sunday’s game. I kinda feel like Phil Simms from the 1990 NFL season, who also suffered a broken foot. Hoping our team completes the year with a championship like the Giants. Let’s go Rule 76! No excuses, play like a champion!
The Kentucky Derby →
Big day this Saturday with the Derby. I need to do my homework. The early favorite is I Want Revenge at 3-1. I like that name but the horse is coming out of the 13th post, not a lucky number I suppose.
Knee scooter

Surfing
I met up for happy hour with my buddy Daniel from Witch’s Rock Surf Camp (Costa Rica). It’s been way too long since we last hung out, I’m guessing at least a year, or could go back to when we got back from Tamarindo in Sept. ‘07.
Looking at possible July surf trip to Cabo. I seriously need to go, either Cabo, or someplace else, I need a surf trip, stat.
Slacker

Finally saw it tonight. It was alright, cute storyline, awesome soundtrack. My fave song has to be Paul Tiernan’s “How to say goodbye.”
Another stupid sports injury
I broke my foot yesterday playing football. So by my count, that’s two fractures in 7 months - both times, I would say were freak occurences. Breaking my pinkie from playing catch before a game, and my foot because I stupidly tried to make a “cut” on a dirt baseball field, which as anyone knows is a stupid move.

DVR
To prove how busy I’ve been of late, I’m about to catch up with some TV shows on the DVR. First up tonight, perhaps the only one I can realistically handle tonight before going to bed, is the 3/30 episode of 24.
Easter
Today I went to Easter mass for the first time in a long time. Let me just say that I’m not a religious person, I’m more spiritual if anything.
