Slumdog Millionaire
Finally got to see SM tonight, borrowed a friend’s DVD but haven’t had the chance/time to see it til now (I’ve now had the DVD for three weeks, I know, but I’ve been really busy).
I liked SM. The storyline was good and was done in a good sequence. Was it really worthy of best picture compared to the other films nominated in the category? Couldn’t really answer that...

Golf
Planned on golfling this morning with Hoppy and Seth, 7am at Mosholu, but got a text message from Hoppy asking for a rain check. Which was ok, I went right back to sleep. But I think I need to hit the driving range first before I hit the golf course.

I Love You, Man
The movie was cute, but not great. The cast was ok, with Paul Rudd and Jason Segel leading the way. The storyline was good, but I can’t imagine a guy getting engaged and being “socially stunted,” i.e. there were a couple scenes where I had to literally put my hand over my face because of the things Rudd’s character says. Unreal!! Yes, the movie is worth paying to see...

SXSW '09
Had an AMAZING time in Austin for SXSW Music. Was here for the eMusic Showcase at teh Central Presbyterian Church, which was a phenomenal success! In the past two days, I went to a good number of shows: Sprengjuhollin, Ladyhawke, Cotton Jones, Girls, The Rural Alberta Advantage, Grizzly Bear, Raul Malo.
Tried out Austin cuisine (yay Iron Works) and beverages (Shiner Bock and Lone Star). Met...

The new ‘Terminator Salvation’ Trailer
This is everything I could want from a Terminator film and I’m seeing hints of possibly more. This is very satisfying and once again proves that Christian Bale never fails when he uses his tough guy voice.
