Mark Twain’s Top 9 Tips for Living a Kick-Ass Life
missdreass:
1. Approve of yourself.
“A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval.”
2. Your limitations may just be in your mind.
“Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.”
3. Lighten up and have some fun.
“Humor is mankind’s greatest blessing.”
“Against the assault of laughter nothing can stand.”
4. Let go of anger.
“Anger is an acid that can do more...

Old school reunion
Tonight, I’m going to see some people I haven’t seen in years, like more than 20 years! Tonight it’s a little gathering put together by my PS 106 classmate Brenda and we’re going to have folks from PS 102, PS 105, and JHS 127. I’m honestly looking forward to tonight’s gathering, all of it due to Facebook. I’m sure there’s going to be a lot of hugs...
Blip.fm
I am beginning to REALLY like Blip.fm. The songs I “blip” get instantly posted to both my Twitter and Tumblr accounts. How awesome is that?!

Wall-E
I didn’t got out last nite and stayed in and saw Wall-E. People told me that Wall-E was a sad movie. In some respect it was, but to me it was more of a cute story.
There is nothing more dreadful than the habit of doubt. Doubt separates people....

Interesting stat: “young adults are the nation’s largest group of uninsured — there were 13.2 million of them nationally in 2007, or 29 percent, according to the latest figures from the Commonwealth Fund, a nonprofit research group in New York.”
25 Random Things, part deux
I posted an earlier “random things” note on my FB page. But after much thinking, I decided to do another one, this time a bit bolder and better. I felt that the last one was too vanilla, was only giving the basics about me, which is ok.
This new list will go a little deeper (that’s what she said), so here goes:
I absolutely love clear blue skies, sunny conditions, warm temps,...
This night is winding down but time means nothing. As always at this hour time...

Being productive
Seriously what a difference a day makes. Yesterday I was a complete and utter sloth. Today, total opposite. Got my haircut, took Jenny out for a little spin, met up with my younger brother Jeff at his campus to drop off some goodies I picked up for him at NY Comic Con, had lunch at my favorite Filipino restaurant in Westbury, did some shopping for my cousin’s birthday at Roosevelt Field,...
Feeling refreshed
It’s amazing what a day of doing nothing can do for the body. Yesterday, I didn’t leave my apartment and totally vegged. Last nite, I got about 8 hours of sleep. And then this morning, woke up feeling refreshed, cooked some breakfast, and am now planning out the day of things I need to do.
Not sleepy
Since I’ve done nothing at all today, I’m not really tired and don’t want to go to bed anytime soon. Chinese take out hit the spot. Let’s see what’s on, hopefully some cheesy 80s classics like Real Genius or Better Off Dead
five dealbreakers.

Just to make it seem like the statement “Nate will date anything with boobs and a pulse” is a falsehood, here is a list of dealbreakers:
Her movie-date suggestion involves Medea doing something ridiculous, Paul Blart patrolling a shopping centre, or Fired Up!…or nearly any movie title involving an exclamation point.
